Error "restart PC" during deactivate WinCC.

Cat_Cesar Posts: 2 Rating: (0)	Dear Mr. I created client-server multiproject. Redundant server and 2 clients. Now is stage design and debugging. PCS7 v71 SP4 (WinCC v7.0 + SP2 +Upd8) On redundant server - MS Server 2003 SP2 On client - Windows XP SP3 (IPC547D) When I deactivate(stop) runtime WinCC on server, I often have next error: "An error has occurred that requires a restart of the computer. Close all applications, if possible, and trigger a restart with the "OK" button." This error there is on Main-server and Stby-server too (it is logical, servers are identical). When I run locally this project on another PC (under Windows XP) I have same situation. I try this on three different PC with same result. Even without PLC. This error I see only on this project, on many another project are all OK. I can close this application (window with error and button OK) in Task Manager (Ctr+Alt+Del) and work next, but I don't know result in future. Seems it is inside the project. What could be the reason for this error?

Ralfinio Posts: 567 Rating: (107)	You should see the reason for the reboot box in the windows event viewer. To open it, open an explorer window, right click on "My computer > Manage > Event Viewer > Application". Search in the time when the event occured, look for warnings and errors.

BrianJensenDanmark Posts: 2 Rating: (0)	I had the same error, as suggested you will find the cause in the event viewer. I my case it was the sql database who tried to connect to non existing files.
