Thanks a lot for your efforts 1-Can I use FC105 (0-20mA) in your sample project for AI (0-10 V)? 2-why there is no bipolar for 4-20 mA ? 3- for SCALE_4..20 FC108 is used only if my AI module is fixed on 0-20mA but if my card in configurable (0-20 mA or 4-20 mA) use only FC105 for both type of current (0-20 mA and 4-20 mA) ? I use TIA 13 SP1 and TIA 14

Hi, The FC 105/FC 106 (SCALE/UNSCALE) are avaliable in TIA for S7-300/S7-400/S7-1500 but not for S7-1200. So, I post at https://support.industry.siemens.com/tf/ww/en/posts/scale-and-unscale/31698/?page=0&pageSize=10 an equivalent to S7-1200. The functinality is similar. In the case of S7-1200 CPU's internal input, there is just 0 to +10V range. With a shunt resistor it is possible to read also 0 to 20 mA. To fix a 4..20mA in a 0..20mA measure range, I place an "dedicated" block. But this is only for the CPU internal inputs. For IO expansion modules, you shoud use the "normal" SCALE/UNSCALE. |
