Hi.

I am looking at some code & this particular snippet that I have landed on has an instruction that I am not sure what & how it is used.
The snippet is this:

A %L0.0
AN %DB1.DBX0.0
= M8.0

 Now, I understand what is happening with this simple snippet of code, but the thing that is puzzling me is the "%L0.0".
What is this variable?

It has been programmed like this, so the % sign says it's an absolute address, but nowhere is L0.0 energised or SET.

Can somebody give some give me an idea on what this %L0.0 address is all about.

BTW, this is programmed in a Function (FC10).  There are no parameters passed in or out of the block that have any relevance to this L address.

Any assignments for TEMP? Using optimized access deselected?

If you have tempByte assigned as a byte for the first tag in the TEMP paramters:
%L0.0   >>>    #tempByte.%X0

There are 3 variables configured in TEMP.  There is 1 'INT', 1 'DINT' & 1 'BOOL'.
None of them are of the L format.

Am I right in saying the 'optimzed access' is the setting in the Attributes tab for the block?  If so, then this is unticked.
