I have a machine with an WinCC 7.0 application. Sometime ago it stopped to show Alarms, and the alarm control on Wincc display the message "No connection to data server". The application is running on a single computer (not Client/Server structure). The alarms are generated through messages from CPU... all the process tags/data are working. I already tried the following actions: - I checked the messages from CPU, using the feature "CPU Messages" on Step 7. The messages are working. - I tried to reset data from SQL server tables using "CCArchiveManager.exe -reset all" I had one error message at CCArchiveManager screen, but the data apparently was cleaned. - Checked the SQL server status and services on the machine. - Restat the machine/application. Attached, I put the entire diagnose folder from WinCC. I found other threads with the same symptom, but all related to Client/Server applications (Different machines). Can anyone help me to work this problem out? Thank you, Adailton Cunha Attachmentdiagnose.zip (634 Downloads) |

Hello AEmerick, If you get the message "No connection to data server" on a single computer from the Alarm-OCX, the Alarmlogging-Server may have been crashed or it hangs. Please check, if you have the process "CCAlgRtServer.exe" running in this situation. If it exists, you should make a manual dump from it. If it does not exist, you should watch it by AdPlus or userdump. see: http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/45020870 If you have dumps, you should create a Support Request und send the dumps to theTechnical Support. Hi AEmerick, Do u have original backup? Put it in runtime. Now u can see current alarms and trends but u will miss old data. If the problem persists, re-install WinCC. |
