Hello , I suggest some solutions, they are fast to achieve: 1-Send a pulse with a noticeable on-off time for user and put it as a property in background color of a object such as a circle or a rectangle. If color is fix, there is problem. 2-Check the pulse in WINCC for being ON or OFF for longer time than allowable value and generate alarm in that case. Check the following for an idea: Connection Fault Between PLC and Wincc Best regards Hamid Hosseini |

Got it working now :) WinCC just detects the connection begin lost after 10 seconds or something close to that. Is there a way to make it detect it faster? |
