I didn't find anything about the topic, I was wondering if it was possible from script to modify the name of the PrintReport instruction file of a PDF file?

I guess the only way is to rename the file. Use the script to search for the files in the report-directory, check the name (if it was already renamed) and if it was not renamed, yet, rename it.

Depending on the application you are using (Comfort Panel or Runtime Advanced) there are different commands, e.g. on the panel you have to copy it to file with the new name and delete (fso.kill) the old file.

It is probably easiest way to create some folder for example NotRenamed and create pdf there. After it is created move it to another folder. Then there is only one file in NotRenamed folder and no need for searching.

Yes you can move whole folder. Just set path to folder you want to move and whole folder is moved to new location. This removes original folder, if i remember correct you cannot copy whole folder.

But then you can only rename folder, not the files in it. 

If you want to rename all files in folder. You can loop through files in folder, move those and rename every file as you like.

Dir("path to Folder" & "*.*") selects first file in folder. After that you can call only Dir without parameters and go through files one by one.

I think it is easiest to rename file right after its created. WinCE vbs is not that great with searching files.

I think it should be "\Storage Card USB\Folder_A", "\\SERVERT\SomeSharedLocation\Folder_B". Without last \ in USB location. This moves Folder_A and it's contents to network location SomeSharedLocation and names it Folder_B.

I have had lots of problems with Comfort Panel network share. If i have added more than than one network ID to panel. I have not been able to access shared folders any more. So i would make sure that i have access before trying to move files.

on server I can create a new folders, but I can't copy or move files with: fs.MoveFile "\USB Card Storage\Folder_A", "\\SERVER\Folder_B". Answer "access denied".
