WinCC V7.2 VBS Global Script issue

xiaodecheng Regular Member Joined: 6/24/2015 Last visit: 11/18/2025 Posts: 9 Rating: (0)	Hi Experts I had run a WinCC V7.2 Project .Here is a issue as follow: When the project is activated, the global script don't work . and then don't deactivate project , On the activate status ,open the script editor ,click the save button , the global script working . the PC's operation system is Win 7 Enterprise 64 Bit, antivirus software is Sophos . So I don't understand . Please help . Best Regards Jane

bg2492 Posts: 7298 Rating: (2188)	Hello Jane, the execution of global actions is controled by the process "gscrt.exe". To start it, you have to activate the Global Script Runtime in the Startup-list in the computerproperties. If you open the script editor,click the save button, the global action is always triggerd, although the trigger-condition is not fullfilled. Which trigger is set, cyclic or tag ? The antivirus software "Sophos" is not released for using with WinCC, only: Trend Micro "Office Scan" Client-Server Suite V10.6 Symantec Endpoint Protection V12.1 (Norton Antivirus) McAfee VirusScan Enterprise V8.8 Regards Georg Berghof

About the VBS global script action's trigger, Cylic was set , and Tag also was set , one time for cylic set ,next time for tag set . they were not set at same time. But the result are same when the project was activated. the global script was not running , About the antivirus software sophos , as you said , It is not released for WinCC, But the WinCC v7.0 is running very well with the same computer configure & antivirus software. So I am confused . Thank you ! Best Regards Jane

bg2492 Posts: 7298 Rating: (2188)	Hello Jane, you could add an "Application Window" (Smart Objects) of "Global Scripts" / "GSC-Runtime" to a picture, which can you see in runtime. This is a table, which shows the Global Actions with their State a.s.o. Can you see your Global Action, and with which state ? Regards Georg Berghof

In Runtime , I can see that script is acitvated in the first scan and then the script activate be finished . and the Error message as follow: Unknown Failure ! No Resource to describe the Failure.
