bergmanu Platinum Member Joined: 4/28/2015 Last visit: 11/12/2024 Posts: 3345 Rating: (379)	Hi, if you have a Linux PC you can plug in the SD card of the IOT, then you have access to the file system of the IOT. There is the file /etc/shadow. It contains the encrypted passwords for the users, for example: root:HsgS6XiedDj8Dh6D:11656:0:10000:::: The value between the first and the second colon contains the password information. If you remove this value, your user doesn't have a password anymore. After that the line looks like this: root::11656:0:10000:::: Then plug the SD card back in your IOT and you can login with the user without password. Best regards!

I think another option is live linux usb/cd distros: https://tutorials.ubuntu.com/tutorial/tutorial-create-a-usb-stick-on-windows#0 I prefer something like this: http://www.system-rescue-cd.org/Installing-SystemRescueCd-on-a-USB-stick/
