I do not have a Profibus Analyzerand want to find out why a S7-1200 CPU stops because an Profibus error. It is far away and the problem is only happens +/- 1 times a week.

On an existing S7-1200 system the CPU stops because “Hardware removal error” and “I/O Read access error”. Only cut off the power off and on can start the CPU & Profibus network again.

The “Hardware removal error” concerns the slot of the Master CM1243-5.

The “I/O Read access error” concerns ALL the I/O read access errors from ALL the Profibus Slaves.

But it can only be 1 slave who has a problem…or maybe the Profibus Master CM1243-5 himself ?

Someone has an simple manner what can help to find the error ?
