Other (inoffical) possibilities: You can use the parallel prommer and the melcopy tool, this should work If your eproms chipsare not soldered you can use a eprom burner and copy each chip (4 x EPROM and 1x EEPROM)

Luís Santiago Posts: 8 Rating: (2)	Hi, I was trying to copy the MS41 with MELCOPY but I have found some problems. I know that memory has 512 kb of EPROM and 2 K of EEPROM. The screen which MELCOPY presents when I choose CARD TO FILE is a little bit strange. The point is that I don't know what values it is supposed to use in the fields ATTRIBUTE MEMORY and COMMON MEMORY. I try to read the content with HEX DUMP in the menu TOOLS, anyway I also have some doubts, because I don't know which type of readind I should choose (COMMON or ATTRIBUTE) neither the type of EPROMto choose (there are two types, EPROM (QP) and EPROM (Std)). The Flash or EPROM is the Common Memoy : 512 KByte (or 256kByte? I don't know how much EPROM the MS41 has) The EEPROM is the Attribute memory: 2kByte PS: Make shure at source drive to select the right drive letter (one is for P16, one for P32).

Luís Santiago Posts: 8 Rating: (2)	Yep, you are right. Meantime, I was playing a bit with Melcopy and also with RCOP and get some data. I compared the files from Melcopywith the ones from Rcop, they are not exactly the same, but I sawthat Rcop only read user data while Melcopy read everything. I took that the Melcopy was a tool to read without configuration, but now I know that we need to define the sizes and the memory that we want read. You confirm my readings. I'll copy the memory and I'll use the copy to test if it works. Thanks again for your kind help. Luís
