I have what seems a basic question but couldn't find an answer in the program, docs or this forum.

I have a Simatic KTP700 Basic panel programmed from TIA V13 Portal with Win_CC basic. 

How do I disable the panel "beep" whenever a button is pressed?  Ideally I could selective disable the beep sound on particular screens and/or buttons.

Have a look at SIMATIC HMI HMI devices Basic Panels 2nd Generation  manual under chapter 5.5:

"Once you have set the "Sound" to "ON" you receive an acoustic feedback in the running project each time you touch the touch screen."
