I would like to trigger script in VBS when tag, which is read from the PLC changes its value from "0" to "1" but how to do this, if I make the action which is triggered by a tag it start also when tag changes its value from "1" to "0" so I do this script twice, I can make a condition inside a script, but as I remember in WinCC Flex there is a possibility to trigger a script on rising or fowling edge, can I do the same in WinCC 7.3

In WinCC flexible and in WinCC SCADA you can only use the Value Change of a Trigger Tag

In WinCC flexible you can also use the events "High Limit" and "Low Limit".

In WinCC You have cannot trigger a Script only on raising Edge.

You have to use a If Then Else Statement to do nothing on falling Edge.

do it like that:

IF NOT oldTrig AND actTrig  THEN ------------> Triggeraction (call, gosub....)

oldTrig = actTrig

oldTrig is a static WinCC variable that will hold last trigger value, actTrig is your trigger value

 You can configure internal tags to remember its value by setting runtime persistence property
