k-rhym Posts: 34 Rating: (0)	hello everybody i'm facing a problem with UA control I'm using WinCC7.0 SP2 and user archive. I was successfully able to create the tables and read write the data. but my problem is that i can't see (read) the values of tags in the UA control unless if i clicked on readtags button then the values shows up. what i want for my project is to read tags automatically, when i set a value in the I/O field this value must be shows automatically without clicking on redtags if that possible. and thank you

bg2492 Posts: 7298 Rating: (2188)	Hello k-rhym, the get displayed the values in the UA-Control, you have to write the values in the Userarchive, conneted with the UA-Control. This happens, when you click the button "ReadTags" on the UA-Control. To make this automatically, you can place a VB-scrpt on the event "Inputvalue/Change" in your I/O-Field, where you put in your value. Dim objUAControl Set objUAControl = ScreenItems("Control1") objUAControl.ReadTags This has the same effect as clicking the button "ReadTags" on the UA-Control. Regards Georg Berghof

bg2492 Posts: 7298 Rating: (2188)	Hello k-rhym, which version of WinCC do you use ? Before V7.3 WinCC did not know a datatype "datetime" for its tags. Therefore you can not connect a tag to columns of type "datetime". With V7.3 the datatype "datetime" is available for tags, but I think it does not work with the userarchive futhermore. Today I tried in the normal way and time values are not displayed exactly like yours. ie using inbuilt buttons of USERARCHIVE CONTROL, time values are not displaying. After that I used the C script found in example project and assigned to separate button for read and write. Using C script dates are inserted perfectly but not by direct buttons. Below is the C script i found for Read/Write/Update and Delete for archive. Assigned to 4 different buttons. Attachment WANNA T.txt (433 Downloads)

AmolK Posts: 50 Rating: (0)	Hi all, I am working on WinCC explorer 7.3. I want to give user authorization for User archive control table. I have 3 users Admin, Operator, Maintenance. In User Administrator I have given function 'Edit Archive Value' enable for Admin and disable for Maintenance. Its working fine. If I login as Admin I can see, edit, insert new and when I login as Maintenance I am unable to see anything in table. Its fine. But now for operator login I want to see table, values, can download but should not edit or inset. Here I am unable to configure authorization for 'operator'. Please help me on this issue.

bg2492 Posts: 7298 Rating: (2188)	Hello AmolK, in the configuration for a userarchive in part "Authorizations and Flags" you can define "read rights" and "write rights" by a number from the Authorization levels from the User Administrator. Futhermore you can do the same for every single field (column) in the userarchive. And in the UserarchiveControl you can set in tab "General" / "Edit" if it can be used for "Modify" and/or "Insert" and/or "Delete" In the tab "Toolbar" you can define for every button one of the Authorization levels from the User Administrator.
