I have m/c using OP77B, when booting I can only see the screen light--seem back light is ok. but no any menu or text display. it happened last week. it working good for 4 years. 'Can any one tell me, I need order the new OP77B . or how can I recover my old OP77B.

PS: I have no WinCC flexible, only have Pro Tool/ Pro

I think I cannot repair this OP by myself, As I have no WinccFleixble nor SIMATIC ProSave, I only have SIMATIC Manager and Pro Tool/Pro in my Laptop.

Luckily I found one spare OP77B in our stock which we ordered from m/c builder years ago, and it is pre-loaded oem program inside, I just connected it then everything working OK.

We will order another OP77B from m/c builder with pre-loading program,

PS: m/c is made in Germany , and we have good relation with them for years, they should support us.

5-If you not success to repair OS,So the panel damaged and should be repaired or replaced with a new one and need to download the program to it.

1. Use all downloads
   For registered users the multiple downloads are still available in the Online Support. For software subject to export restrictions, which cannot be made available to everyone, you will need an additional release. Just apply for it during the registration process.

2. Read point 3:

My advice for making the communication between PC/PG and OP77B panel is to use RS 232 cross cable as in the attached file

"it is simple and cheap".
