Hello everybody,

I'm facing a problem when I try to edit a Ethernet node.

I can find the accessible nodes in the browse button, but, when I try to change the "IP Address" or the "Device Name" the following message appears:

"No node with this MAC address could not be reached. check MAC address and the module" 

(See the picture attached.)

I already used the same notebook to edit a Ethernet node and this problem did not happened.

Can anybody help me with this mystery?

What device are you trying to set the address on?

Does it already have an ip address?

Can you add printscreen of the list of devices you see on the network when browsing?

Remember that you can not set an address of a cpu this way that already has hardware configuration downloaded if the ip address is part of the hardware configuration that was downloaded.
