I heard from my supplier that S7-400 PLC will be obsolete soon in 2~3 years.

Can anyone confirm this information is true?

Any document or official note from Siemens?

this information is NOT TRUE. The S7-400 will be available beyond 2030 as you can read officially here.

Hi,

we use S7-400 and I heard and found nothing about a discontinuation but I can imagine that somtime it will replaced by S7-1500 but at the moment not everything works with S7-1500 - i.e. H-Systems...

But this is only speculation and my opinion.
