I have to design a Wincc project in Persian Language. My PLC is s7-313 2dp, my hmi is TP1200 Comfort and software is TIA Portal V13.

Apparently my hmi I do not support Persian language! even Arabic language.

I converted any text to JPG or PNG by MSPaint. in editing mode in tia all is good, but in simulation and after download to device some of my pictures id disappeared!

1- Is it really this software does not support the Persian language?

2- If my solution is correct then why the pictures disappear?

There are any way to directly type in Persian letters?

New question published by GAS2 is split to a separate thread with the subject WinCC V13, after downloading backup some pictures or objects disappereared.

It seems RT Advanced does support Arabic fonts, the Comfort Panels do not. Maybe the above workaround is working for you.

Regarding the disappearing pictures.

• Click on "Languages & resources > Project graphics".
• Are the disappearing graphics added in all dependent languages (& the standard graphic column)?
• Did you integrate the graphics in "Properties > General > Graphic"? Is the mode set to Graphic (not Graphic list)?
• In case you put the Picture on top of the button it might be underneath the button in Runtime. Set the button to invisible to check, if you arranged it like that.
