You may have seen my other post where i was having network issues with the LOGO and softcomfort. These are now resolved....I think. However, I cant seem to add the LOGO as equipment in TIA portal. Any advice?

Ive downloaded the latest TIA portal but it doesnt seem to have the LOGO. only S7/1200

Programming Logo is done solely via the LSC software. This is "stand alone" and not part of the TIA Portal.

You want to add the "device" (LOGO!)
on the network view of the S7-1200 - right?

The LOGO! cannot be selected as a device, but you do not need it to make the program / network to work. Do see the above mentioned link for guidance.

PS...... this is a TIA Portal question not strictly a LOGO! question.

In my humble opinion the topic creator want in TIA can select the logo as an S7 and then programmed in the TIA Portal.

This is thankfully not.

The logo software will hopefully remain a standalone software.

I too hope the LOGO software remains without TIA influence or integration.
TIA Portal is much too heavy on resources (and price) to justify integration.

if you want LOGO integrated in TIA PORTAL, hope it in later version 

But i dont think Siemens will do it, because TIA PORTAL is very high requirement( PC, license...) for small application like LOGO.

 why you need this?

you can already connect logo to HMI panel using network connection.

you can make script to programing panel in tia portal using tag of logo

i think LOGO SOFT must be the same like TIA PORTAL in interface. but it's only my mind
