If my program is made in TIA V11. And i would like to take backup from TIA V13.

is there any solution behind that?

  Its not possible to Upload a program from PLC to PC with TIA V13 which is developed and downloaded by tIA V11.

 The only way is to migrate your TIA V11 using TIA V13 software, then you can backup your software

 You can install previous tia portal vesion to copy block program and you must configure new hardware. See more

 He can upload his software using TIA V13 and it will detect that the project is created in older version and request to be migrated

Are you tried use TIA v13 to upload project created by v11 from PLC. if you have a project with created by v11 (file folder in your computer) you can open it and it request upgrade to v13(not migrate, migrate is .S7p to .ap...)

If he can upload with v13 so he dont need post the post

He can use compatiblemode_v11_v12 to upload block program, but not direct upload hardware, software to computer.

You can upload directly Hardware and Software if the software downloaded in CPU is made in V12.

In case of V11

1. use TIA V11 to do the upload.
2. Convert uploaded using TIA V13.

same happening with me but you should know ip address and password if your program password protected and how to know ip address there are some easy ways ,

make a new program in tia portal v13 then add your device then configure new device exact ip addres after go online software serch the device click further and then when you see your device online upper side icon download from device  then click you hole program will out from cpu s7-1200  to you system tia portal v13.
