I have a project to do with TIA V13 SP1 with Scout V4.4 TIA.

Hardware:

1x D410-2 DP/PN

1x IM151-8 in i-device with D410-2

1x HMI OP177B 6" DP/PN

The problem is this last one : the "link" between the panel and HMI is not valid and is red, so I cannot compile the HMI and do nothing.

If I change the panel to a KTP comfort everything works fine...

Is it vaguely possible that OP177B 6" Color is NOT compatible with D410-2 under TIA Portal environment ?

I don't have here the compatibility list for the panels, but I know that the cheapest line of panels is not allowed to get online with Simotion. From the comfort line is allowed.

You mean that TP and OPs aren't able to connect UNDER TIA with a Simotion ?

(When they can work with tia with a S7-1200 or IM151-8)

Daaaaamn ! Why TIA portal just simply doesn't say "Hey , this OP and your Simotion are not compatible " and instead it gives you a generic error in the link :@ ??

may you work around of this limit just making a project with a previous release of scout with WinCC Flex?

I use to have many VM to follow up previous projects.

Using WinCC Flex externally could be pretty painful ...

We will upgrade it with a komfort panel basic 700 pn

New question published by Dany Min is split to a separate thread with the subject OP177B, couldn't migrate from WinCCFlexible 2008 SP3 UP7 to TIA V11 SP2.
