Dear all,

I am interfacing Heidenhain LS477 linear scale to a CNC controller[802D sl]. 

After configuring in controller, if i am rotating axi, i am getting alarm.

"Axis Y LR :Standstill error responded"  . why its happening?  

I have rechecked all the configuration and ratios i have set.

Why this error coming. and how to rectify this alarm?

Hi, standstill condition is not met when it should be, so system is reporting a standstill monitoring error. Are you sure  that your axis is not "forced" or "pressed" by pneumatic or other forces ?

Can you trend the encoder value and check its value over time ?

Maybe increase the standistill monitoring tolerance ?

Are you getting "Alarm 7450-LR standstill monitoring has responded"

Please check following point.

As per manual, F074500 is because of following points.

After the standstill monitoring time (p2543) expired, the drive left the standstill window (p2542).

- position actual value inversion incorrectly set (p0410).

- standstill window set too small (p2542).

- standstill monitoring time set too low (p2543).

- position loop gain too low (p2538).

- position loop gain too high (instability/oscillation, p2538).

- mechanical overload.

- Connecting cable, motor/drive converter incorrect (phase missing, interchanged).

- when selecting motor identification, select tracking mode (BI: p2655[0] = 1 signal).

- when selecting function generator, select tracking mode (BI: p2655[0] = 1 signal) and de-activate position control

(BI:p2550 = 0 signal)

Please check & resolve issue.

Same alarm i am facing.. 

I have checked the alarm changed values. No effect noticed.

What itsmean by LR standstill monitoring..? 

Normally standstill alarm coming with axis standstill alarm.!!

 There is no pnuematic or force effect in axis.  I have increased standstill tolarance.  There is no effect noticed.

Have you entered external encoder parameter values correctly?

Could you move slide/axis manually & check the change in position value displayed on screen & actual slide moved are matching?
