In you code add:-
pARR := YourArray.FirstArrayElement; // The ANY pointer must point to the first element in
                                                                    // the array and not just at the array itself

Now the array size can be obtained with pAnyARR.Length and the array element data types can be obtained with pAnyARR.DataType.

 Question:

Have you found a good way to use the ANY pointers in TIAP? The manual states that the AT construct could be used as temps, but the SCL editor just refuses to accept it. So far it seems that the AT has to go in the static section, thus leaving FBs quasi optimized.....Any other way of indirect access to memory area where the variable name is unknown seems to be impossible.... The AT construct should be replaced by unions anyways.....

 By the way, the SCL editor just sucks.....except for the variable name synchronization between declarations and code...but then again all code has to be realigned to get a good overview. There NP++ comes in handy....

I have used ANY pointer sucessfully in the TEMP area (see attched)
Have you turned off the "optinized access" for the block?
This is a requirement for using ANY pointers.
