Standard Telegram 352 only supports 16 bit Main setpoint and not 32 bit.

If you want to use 32 bit ( Double Word ) setpoint, you need to configure "Free Telegram BECO" and assign 32 bit setpoint .

In this link, you can use FC 14 for controlling SINAMICS G120 via profibus. 

Do you understand how telegrams work or how they are mapped into a program?  We may want to start there.  You really don't need a program or function.  It is easy enough to simply set bits and a speed reference in the peripheral area in the PLC.

Do you understand what command bits are needed and what they do? 

For 352 the send telegram

Word 1 = Command bits
Word 2 = Speed Reference
Words 3-6 can be user defined or ignored

The receive telegram

Word 1 = Status bits
Word 2 = Speed Feedback
Word 3 = Current Feedback
Word 4= Torque Feedback
Word 5 = Alarm code
Word 6 = Fault code

Reference and feed back values are scaled to H4000 (decimal 16384) = 100%.  The 100% values are set in parameters 2000 - 2004.

amank, the example that Jeff posted is a very brilliant and quick explanation of this telegram. I think there isn't a better and practic way to describe how it works.

Basically you must be sure that you peripheral is OK and that your dp comm is ok with your slave.

Then , ok, you have SF, but can you check the diagnostic buffer ? Maybe you are not communicating with slave ? If yes then this is your first problem to solve, then you work with telegram.
