Hi , I have KTP600 Basic color dp and KTP1000 Basic dp panels and the Function "Panel is the only master on the bus"  is locked and ON, I mean the text is in red color. I press it but it couldn't deactivate.Any suggestions how can I unlock that function and switch it OFF, because these 2 panels are assigned as masters on the bus and the FROFIBUS network is not working properly.Unfortunately I have no cable to reset the panels to the factory settings via Prosave. Probably there is a combination of keys which I need to press to unlock that function. I will appreciate any suggestions.

If you don't have any cable or other then don't try to reset to factory settings: if you need a further reparametrization you will not be able to do noting.

I have checked but I do not see nothing particular about that, maybe it's a problem of touch screen ? Try otherwise ti change from DP to MPI and back to DP and see if this can help.

Hi, thank you for the reply. I have CP5711 and CP5512 cables and with them I can do OS update and I did that but with these cables I can't do the Reset to factory settings . This Reset to factory settings function is not available with the cables I have.

For the two mentioned Panel, You can do the factory rest using one of the following cables / connectors:

• 6ES7 901-3CB30-0XA0;   RS232/PPIMulti-Master cable
• 6ES7 901-3DB30-0XA0;   USB/PPI Multi-Master cable
  
• 6AV6 671-8XD00-0AX0;    Right angle adapter (9-pin 1:1)
  

The Reset to Factory setting is available only for the above mentioned cables in according to the excel sheet attached to entry ID: 19109408

You have to search for cables with character "U"
