I dont actually have a motor connected at the moment because im only programming it thats probably why its poping up but is that bad for the inverter?

If any remote isolator is there, make sure it is ON 3. OR make sure motor power cable is connected at motor TB side. If you don't have motor ready this is a normal message, You can trial with a test motor after parameterization then Regards, Vijay

Have you sets macro as per standard wiring arranegemnts. Have you set common parameters? Is drive & connected motor rating compatible? [snip] HTH.
