I am working with step7 ,but I dont know how to use SFC14 and SFC15 for send and recieve data when i have profibus device .can i ask to show me how to use it i need example project .i searche in this from ,i found link of some project but i couldnt open them,please help me

I want to connect to simicode pro (through profidbus).I got gsd file ,and I attached the hwconfig,

however i dont know how to read and write ,I dont know i should use sfc58 or sfc 14,15,

which one i should use and how can i use it.

The most straight-forward example that I can suggest would be the following link.It is easy,simple and you can find extra explanations in supporting links.Please read the following FAQ carefully and check the provided STEP 7 project :

DP link between CPU 315-2DP (slave) and S7-400 (master) with STEP 7 V5.3

Pleas note that you need to extract project before opening it with STEP 7.

Hello,

Which type of data do you want to read from simocode? Cyclic or acyclic.

If cyclic data want to be read/write  then you don't need any instuctions. You can directly read/write on PII and PIQ address .

In your case the starting address are PIW 256 and PQW256. You need to check the corresponding data in Simocode manual.

Only for Reading acyclic data you need to use the instructions.
