Hi Duccio, When using Go to IO module, the system jumps to hardware configuration and highlights the station where the IO card is located. This is indicated by a blue color. In the IO station the IO card will be highlighted with a dark grey background. In case a jump is not possible, this means that the system does not know the IO module and Generate Module Drivers will not create the automatic connections. |

HI, I'm still facing the with the Go to IO function that doesn't work. When i try to recompile (all project and module drive generation) one of the three projects in my multiproject, i get a Module error coming from the PDM ASSET. The problem is that, in my opinion, there is somthing corrupted in the PCS7 database, because this instrument is not possible to delete. How can i solve this problem? Thanks. Duccio. Hello Duccio, as far as I understand it is only a problem of one IO instrument? Did you try to change the symbolic name of the IO? Is it possible to change the ASSET ID fo the IO? Perhaps it is possible to delete/ solve your problem. If not, there is alos the possibility to open a Support Request: https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ww/en/sc/2090 Hopefully this might help you. |
