I have a question for you about if S7-1500 is able to collect data from wincc flexible? 

What Wincc is recommended to connect to S7-1500?

WinCC Flexible is software used to program Operator Interface Terminals (screens).

S7-1500 is a PLC that is programmed withTIA Protal software.

Generally speaking you display data with the screen that the PLC has collected...

in my opinion if we talk about some HMI/panel connection, in this case you need connect your S7-1500 to WinCC Flexible, only probably via Modbus protocol it can be solved. In standard situation you need WinCC (selected version due your HMI/panel version) in TIA environment. This version has implemented connection to S7-1500 directly.

I think you want to connect the S7-1500 PLC to the Wincc flexibel Runtime.

I have made the connection but with the S7-1200 as follows :

1.define a connection of type S7-300/400 in the connections area in winccflexible.

2.creat an (((((not optimized))))) data block in your PLC as example DB1000 .

3.define normal tags in the winccflexible as example DB1000.DD10 of tybe Dint and try .

with the S7-1200 it works without problems.
