Murof Platinum Expert Joined: 8/3/2009 Last visit: 1/9/2026 Posts: 16629 Rating: (1944)	Hello RetroK in most cases you use the switched X1 Ports for Communication to PLC. the X3 Interface is made for normal Ethernet Communication like getting access to Office Network or for Weboptions like Webserver or SmartServer and so on. But you cannot use X1 and X3 in the same Subnet! Bye Murof

Hi, is a restriction from the Operation System. X1 and X3 are independent Interfaces. If bootare in the same subnet the OS can not select which interface should be used. Regards Christoph
