How do I add new modules to an exsting PLC setup? See attachment PLC1.jpg. Simatic manager does nog let me add modules.

Somebody knows how to add them?

do you get any error message if you try to add?
Is the project write protected because some modules have the "?" sign which means that a HSP is missing?

Get you any message when you open the project.

Which Step7 Version do you use? Is the Safety package installed on the System?

Hello,

You need to update the hardware catalog of step7 simatic manager.

The ? mark indicates that the hardware you want to insert is missing in your simatic manager hardware catalog library.

Install the latest .hsp files for latest hardware catalog to remove the ? mark and add the hardware with out error.

can you show us a list of your installed SW?

You can find it under Help -> Info...

I guess that you don´t have installed Distributed safety and or F-Configuration Pack.
