Hello norimane; As a beginner in automation, your next step should be to learn how to use the available tools of this forum. For example, using the Site Explorer search box at the right of this page, looking for "WinCC v7.3 and PLCSim", you would have been pointed to this FAQ: How can you link WinCC to S7 PLCSIM? The FAQ applies to an installation of both softwares on the same computer. Try the proposed solution, tell us if it resolves your issue (it was designed for WinCC v6.x). Hope this helps, Daniel Chartier |

Hello norimane; Please add screenshots of the error messages you recieve, they can be very helpful when we try to understand your problems. By the way, what communication link are you trying to establish between your WinCC application and PLCSim? MPI? Industrial Ethernet? Are both softwares installed on the same computer? In the meantime, follow this thread, specilly the posts by our friend Ammy: [SOLVED] - PLCSIM 5.4 and Wincc with Ethernet. Hope this helps, |

Hi norimane, I'm not sure if you like to establish a communication via SIMATIC S7 channel or Modbus TCP/IP. Anyhow, you have to mind about many things. Here some helpful links: How do you implement tag status monitoring or connection status monitoring in WinCC? What are the requirements for operating SIMATIC WinCC in a Windows network? What should you pay attention to when using WinCC within a domain? Which license do you need for communication via TCP/IP with WinCC? Why is the connection from WinCC to the S7 controller not established via TCP/IP? |
