Natedeezy Posts: 3 Rating: (0)	Ok recently we have moved one of our production lines and we have lost a control board in the masterdrive that we did not have backed up. I can see the logic in the program for both a SFC 14 "Read" block and also a SFC 15 "Write" block. What is the process to re-program the drive the receive this data in the proper way? I have scowered the internet looking for help on how this communication work and have come up empty.

Natedeezy Posts: 3 Rating: (0)	For example the SFC 15 "write" - LADDR = 140hex and Record = P#DB16.DBX20.0 BYTE 20 . I have this datablock that is written to the drive I know what parameters are in each bit of the word. Mostly boolean functions, on ,off start, stop, and drive enable / reset , How do i take the parameters from my DB in the program and match that to the parameters of the drive. I have been working through the drive parameters and cant figure out where I set these values. I know its a rather simple process I have tweaked these parameters before but I have never had to re-do them from scratch after loosing a un-backed up control board.

I have the data dytes that it is writing and the only software we have is Drivemon to write / change parameters. How do i program the different bits of the words for the different parameters of the drive.

But you still need to know the internal structure of configuration/functionality of your drive to be able to parametrize it correctly.
