Dear experts,

while i opening simatic manager ppop message coming " automation licence manager  service has not started" i manually start the automation licence manager in "services.msc".then i can able to open simatic manager.but once i close the service dialog again i couldn't open it.i completely reinstalled the automation licence manager software.and i tired system restore also its not working . my pc is windows xp 2003.

when ever i try to open with manully using services.smc a visual studio pop up window appear and showing "visual studio just in time debugger " if i give yes a debugging window was opening then message was "unhandled exception at 0x0041430f0 in almsrvx.exe"

i am using step 7 simatic manager v 5.4 sp 1

please provide me any valuable solution.

If I were in your situation, I would reinstall the whole system(OS and Engineering SW).
