IP address and the setting are maybe correct. But analog data cannot display on the panel. S7-1200 and panel are connecting correctly, so maybe there is a problem between IOT2040 and S7-1200. In your Node-RED screenshot it looks like the value is written correctly. Can you please provide your Node-RED flow? Go to the menu bar in the right top corner --> Export --> Clipboard and then copy the content in a .txt file and post it here. This makes it easier to find an error sometimes. Best regards!

Node-RED shows the correct values but they aren't written to the PLC. It looks like that the function nodes together with the S7-node are leading into problems. I think that the functions are too slow for the S7 node. If I am deleting the function nodes, the transfer to the PLC works. If I am using OPC UA nodes instead of S7 it works (I know S7-1200 doesn't have an OPC UA server, but this was just for testing; I am using a S7-1500). I was playing around with timeout and cycletime time of the S7 node, but I didn't have success together with the function nodes.. Does anybody have experience using function nodes and S7 node together? Best regards!

Anyway, S7 writing function is updated? or the problem was solved? The function is absolutely needed for connecting between node-red and PLC in the future. then this is truly "connectivity",right?
