i am using TP1500 comfort hmi i want to show user name in io field after user login.

You can used a Task, and configure it as it trigger when you change the user, in that task that you created you can add a event with the function "ReadUserName", you can send that to a output variable, for example: "user_name" variable

then just add a text field, and there add that variable.

(some word that I use can be different in you versión, I'm using the Spanish one, so I don't know excatly the translation.

in wincc 7 version's after create user Administrator tags produce "@current user name"  internal tag

but in wincc pro/Advance there is not for IO Field

In TIA Portal go to Project view.

In tree you go to HMI (TP1200 Comfort)

Go to "Scheduled tasks", add new.

Go to properties (And select a trigger 'User change')

Then go to 'Events'

And add a function to 'update' (use the function: 'GetUserName')

select a HMI tag (internal)

now go to screen, use an I/O field and use the HMI tag.

Then it should work.
