Greetings all!

I have a question regarding replacement of a G120 CU240 with a memorycard backup.

Lets picture a scenario, where we have a 1500 series cpu with a couple of 240 CU's connected on a profinet system. During start-up, all inverters have their own memorycard with a parameter backup on, performed through the "Extra" menu on BOP "To Card" command.

After X hours of operation, one of the CU's malfunctions and another one is installed, but with a newer FW version on the CU.

How does this conflict with the backup on the memorycard, if you perform a "From card" command to restore the parameters, and not atleast how does the CPU react now that the firmware differs from the HW config on the CPU?

I have tried with two different FW version CU's, but without any succes.

Has anyone tried this, or has the experience how to perform it correct?
