Azkaban Posts: 224 Rating: (7)	Hello everybody Is it possible to make a VB script in WinCC that creates a HTML page? When I try to make anything that has to do with HTML, it doesn't work. It is like WinCC won't recognise HTML tags. Do you know what is wrong? Best regards

Best regards Basically anything what can create a text file is capable of creating a HTML page. But you need a web browser to display it as a web page. What do you want to achieve? Make WinCC to display a HTML pages? Or what? Could you be more specific?

Azkaban Posts: 224 Rating: (7)	Hello Thanks for the quick reply :) I have a unit that measures carts (up to 2200 carts in a system). When the operator presses a button (record data) the software shall take the configuration of the unit and the measured data for each cart and create a html document (File.html). The data shall be in a table that is 9xnumber of carts. But I don't know if it is possible to create a table like that or even write some code that can change the text size and font. When ever I write some code that you use to create a html document, it underlines it all with red like it don't recognise the code (see the code below). <!DOCTYPE html> <html> <body> <h1>My First Heading</h1> <p>My First paragraph</p> </body> </html> Best regards

In a VBS you should create a text file (whatever.htm) on a disk. And then write to it the HTML code (e.g.this which you gave). Close the file. Then you can open the file with the HTML browser.

And write them to the file. Set objFSO=CreateObject("Scripting.FileSystemObject") outFile="c:\test\whatever.htm" SetobjFile=objFSO.CreateTextFile(outFile,True) objFile.Write "<!DOCTYPE html>" & vbCrLf objFile.Write "<html>"& vbCrLf 'and so on line by line objFile.Close
