Hello everyone ..

i am trying to generate encoder pulses from PLC outputs . like A..A bar ..B..B bar ..Z..Z bar..5vdc.

actually we are trying to replace linear incremental encoder  with a linear scale with 0..10 volt output analog..

can we have done this using any plc to convert this 0to 10 volt signal to pulses  ???

existing system don't have any PLC it is working some dedicated electronics cards.so that we have no option to read analog input directly to existing system.

so please give your suggestions to resolves this .
