You need to know also what communication protocol is available for you and via this info you can realise next steps. What I saw with quick look, some Carel Modbus version is used but this need to be checked for sure. What PLC HW, comm module and what exact TIA version you want use for project?

mopS04 Posts: 5521 Rating: (1058)	hi, As I see from the technical data of the data-sheet this is a serial interface. you need a communication module to communicate with it over RS485. What CPU do you have? S7-1200? then you need this: 6ES7241-1CH32-0XB0 hope this helps, regards,
