Hi,

I am new to PLC and Siemens equipment so I hope you will exuse my ***izm :)

I have existing PLC program that needs to be uploaded to S7 1200. When I try to load programm i get message "Failed to establish a connection to the device with address Access address..." and "Connection failed The selected online target could not be reached". My laptop is connected to S7 1200 via ethernet cabel.

 IF     CPU IP address:  192.168.40.98

 Use    PC IP address:  192.168.40.xxx

              For example:   192.168.40.100

             Subnet mask:    255.255.255.0

IP address wasnt set on CPU so after seting it it works fine and I have communication.
