When replacing a device: When replacing a CPU (e.g. 6ES7511-1AK01-0AB) with a compatible successor type (e.g. 6ES7511-1AK02-0AB0), the TIA Portal project does not need to be changed; upgrade of the TIA Portal project is not required. I cannot update PLC with version 2.1 to 2.5.2 with TIA Portal v14 SP1 but if PLC already was 2.5.2 I could download sw to it with TIA Portal v14 SP1? I'm finding conflicting information regarding this, can someone confirm what I wrote above?

The only thing is, that you can´t project the V2.5. but it also works with a projected FW <=2.1 regards,
