geri036 Posts: 152 Rating: (5)	Hello guys! I am trying to find a way to filter active alarms and alarm history. I found a way to filter alarms by some string, but that option is not active for alarm history (alarm log). Is there any way I can filter alarms and alarm log by date and time??? That is what I really need.

To provide this functionality, configure an I/O field using the "Screens" editor. Requirements ● A filter has been configured for the alarm view. ● An I/O field for entering the criterion is displayed. ● Alarms are displayed in Runtime. Enable filter 1. Enter the filter string in the I/O field. 2. Confirm your input. The alarm view displays only those alarms that are contained in the specified character string. Thereby this distinguishes between upper and lower case letters. Disable filter 1. Delete the string from the I/O field that is used to filter the alarm view. 2. Confirm your input. All alarms are displayed in the alarm view once more. Regards, Frink

geri036 Posts: 152 Rating: (5)	Filtering alarms by string is only available for Current alarm states and Alarm buffer but not for Alarm log. There is no way to filter active alarm or Alarm log by date and time. Anyways, thanks Prof.Frink !

There are two "time range" options in Alarm report of report page (Start (datetime tag) and End (also datetime tag) and you can also make additional popup window for setting datetime tags the way you want. I agree, it looks as bicycle wheel engineering, but at least it better than nothing at wincc adv.
