I have this TP1200 and 1515 PLC, using TIA v14

What I am trying to do is to setup NTP on the three devices; the PLC, HMI touchpanel, and the computer. The computer will act as the SCADA system. I already enabled the NTP time sync on the computer and the PLC. I also have enabled the NTP time synchronization on the touch panel, however, I am unable to set the addresses on the server in the NTP option in the touch panel.

Don't I need to set the addresses on the touch panel like I have set on the TIA portal?

I've searched a lot about this topic, but unfortunately I'm unable to come up with a solution.

 You need to go to settings and then click PROFINET and then configure there your NTP server address.

Yes I'm aware of that, but it my problem is I cannot specify the IP address on the touch panel. The input box is grayed-out. Only the name of the network is modifiable, but not the address

 You need to specify the address of your NTP and the comfort panel will fetch the IP address by itself and validate the connection. In my case I just entered www.google.com and it automatically fetches the IP through the Internet connection.

you can modify the name of the NTP server (see description by Jaya) - I used the system name of my Windows 10 PC. When you then press the Test-button, the IP address of the server is shown.

Late answer I guess, anyway,

if you use an NTP-server with only IP-adress,

just put in the IP adress as name and push test. Work like a charm.
