If you look in the project tree after expanding the HMI and open the online & diagnostics option, in the working (middle) pane, you can look at the device software and firmware details.  That is the best you can do for a basic panel as far as I know.

WIth some of the more advanced panels, you can load them in a way that you can actually retrieve the source data or at least back them up. 

If you need that option, you will need a more capable HMI.

If you are just curious, best to just reload the HMI.  Quicker.  Sure it nags at the brain a bit, but after you do the "just reload the HMI" a few hundred times, the brain nagging gets a bit easier to ignore :)

To check whether my PLC program is up to date, The green LED in the TIA specifies that the logic in my PLC and my PG are same, But for HMI like KTP400 how can I check whether the Screen in my PG and on the touch panels are same?
