Right click on the tag assigned to that "bit variable" location and select cross-references.

Portal tends to think symbolically.  Tools are provided to support that way of thinking.

I have no use for a logic N.O. contact with M13.2 as the monitored bit.

I have lots of use for a logic NO contact with tag name "Conveyor_Motor_DB".Running that I assign in a DB named "Conveyor_Motor_DB"

Now moved to TiaPortall.

Why in Cross Reference TiaPortal, there is no tab for details of using a bit variable in a program like in Simatik Manager?

I know you can see in the cross reference data where the tag is read or written.

This is the symbolic world.  You are looking for something that is much less meaningful, particularly when DB tags operate significantly faster than M tags - at least in s7-1200/300 (optimized DBs that is).

I see in the Cross Reference TiaPortal less information than in Simatik Manager. There is no detailed value for using a bit variable (for example, in Simatik Managar it was visible how the variable is used: /A or / AN , /O or /ON).

As Hati states, a Set or Reset action will write, so the cross reference will show you all the locations where either a set or reset action has taken place.

If you want it to specify exactly what kind of write has taken place, you need to contact Siemens Support and request them to change how TIA Portal cross references work.

Yes, I know full well that other PLCs and software have been able to run through logic with a keypress to essentially walk through the logic showing every place in the program where that memory address or tag has been used.  I miss the trace/retrace functionality built into the very first PLC created.

I need to know where the  variable is "Reset" or "Set". When analyzing a program it is very often necessary. I understand that in TiaPortall through Cross Referent it is impossible to do.
