can anybody tell me how can i activate the Safety for S120? I'm going in safety selection - edit - i am choosing the safety integrated after that i copy the parameters to ram and stop the editing mode. Should I make something else?

after you did the Safety commissioning in online mode do the following:

- copy parameters

- copy Ram to Rom

- Switch the device Off and On again

If your safety configuration is fine, all should be ok then. For detailed information connect online to the device and check the fault messages in the alarm window.

How do you control the safety functions? Via PROFIsafe or terminals? In case of PROFIsafe and S7-1x00 PLC I would recommend to use the so called LDrvSafe library for Step 7, which you can download here in SIOS. This lib contains safety blocks for the different safety telegrams to the drive (e.g. telegram 30 control block etc.).
