- KTP 400 Basic Panel (6AV2123-2DB03-0AX0)
- Router 3G/4G with an static IP. (it answers with a PING command)

When I try to connect thought internet to the HMI using Smatclient program, I get the Next Error "SSL Handshake Failed". It comes up when I try to connect thought internet (fordwarding) but if smartclient is used in local network, It does not appear.

I attach a file where comfort panel's setup screen appear but the basic panel does not have this option. I think it can be one of causes and another one can be in the router.

 First what you had highlighted is not for smart server settings. For smart server you need to select the Remote option in that dialog.

I think the problem might be there is already a device in the network with the same IP as your panel. That maybe the reason. Also comfort panel had inbuilt  smart server as default. Basic panels needs license to work as smart server. I think you had misunderstood something in the process.

You are right but I tried to find some explanation why in a comfort panel It works and in a Basic Panel does not. The image was not a good clue.I think I was not very clear in my description. 

the basic panel already has license.

I meant If I place my laptop with its own IP  in the local network I can connect to the HMI by smartclient.(no problem), It does not come up any error message and I can see the  HMI's Screens

But with the same configuration and through internet It does not work, I can connect but during the connection process appears this error message (attached image). I do not know why.

Yes, I Could. the router 3G  has a fixed IP  (no change).I do not know If you mean this.

I am sorry. I do not know the device name . I think I did not write anything in this area. I only set up IP Address, mask and Gateway.

I have a doubt. Can it be done a ping to reach a device behind a router thought a port?

Could it be useful the answer after a telnet command (attached image)?

Another detail:

I can create a VPN with the PLC and HMI. I can load modifications without problem , even I can ping to IP address of my HMi and PLC but the smartclient keep on not work in this situation 

I have kept on testing and I have found out that sm@rtclient may have a certificates issue because:

-> with Sm@rtclient for Android it works.

-> with IE browser It works as well

but with sm@rtclient for windows it does not work.

Any suggestion??

Update 1 Tia v15.1  has resolved the problem.
