Hello friends, I'm new to S7 200 Smart, now I forget the PLC Password, I can't download my new logic, How to reset and download my new logic, 

I tried "CLEARPLC" on the password box, but not works.

I have the same problem as above, but I do not have a "reset to default memory card".

How to clear S7-200 smart password and program back to factory defaults ? 

I have tried to connect this PLC via PC/PPI cable with software STEP 7-MicroWIN SMART: select CLEAR--select "reset to factory defaults and forget password"...and power cycle the PLC within 60S, 

but I found this is not able to remove the PASSWORD, nor to clear the program in memory.

Any other ways to do it please?

So many years have passed and no solution was found ???

Then we learn that if you forget the password you have to trash the CPU and buy a new one.

Is this the case here ?
