klina Posts: 2 Rating: (0)	Hi everybody, i hope you can help me. After a while running the micromaster shows F0011, i've been watching r0034 and i see how it increase until it gets 100% shows A0011 and after F0011. The motor parameters are ok. Any idea? Thanks

JensS Posts: 739 Rating: (55)	Hello klina, F0011 = Motor over Temperature I²/t (~ bimetal function). It is an inverter reaction of the motor over load. F0011 is calculated (not measured) inside the inverter. There are different possibilities to get F0011. Heavy load (too much for the motor) Shock load Wrong parameterisation of the motor parameter (P0300 – P0360) Bad cable connection The reaction of F0011 can be parameterised (P0610 – P0614).

klina Posts: 2 Rating: (0)	Thanks for your soon answer I regard all the parameters there are ok. i regard all the wires, no problem its no over load at the moment its no longer giving F0011 instead still working with A0511 all the time, i wrote something about P1910 i would trie to see what happens. Sorry for my english

marcsinclair Posts: 49 Rating: (5)	Hi, As the previous poster mentioned, the I2T is internally calculated. It is an attempt to 'work out' what the current temperature of the motor is by measuring the current (I) over Time (T). By calculating how much energy is being put into the motor, and how much a 'normal' motor uses and loses, we can estimate how much is turned into heat. This is why it is very important to ensure that all of the motor parameters are correct. ensure that you have transcribed the motor plate details correctly and set the type of cooling used. This function is very useful and when used in conjunction with full control (USS or PROFIBUS) can be used to avoid motor damage and even (as I do) use it to diagnose faults ( low I2T = leaking blower, High I2T = gearbox problems)

Now, if the fault goes away, it is an indication that the motor is running at a frequency / speed, which the calculator in the VFD is seeing the motor cooling fan as slow, and cooling is inadequate. This is a diagnostic thing only and for proper protection of the motor P0335 should be returned to the correct setting.
