Is the V16 licence also valid for older version (V15.1,V14,V13) or do I need to buy each license separately?

In the future, when new version comes up, can I buy just some upgrade license from V16? TIA licenses are downwards compatible. So you only need the newest versions license, and you can use the older ones.

I now can integrate GitHub and have a fantastic version control rather than the mess I used to make and had difficulty following.

The one I tired today and like a lot is the version control. I now can integrate GitHub and have a fantastic version control rather than the mess I used to make and had difficulty following. Adding new options upon the flawed base. They even cannot organize the normal work of fonts in Windows 10. BR

Hello, If you already have an old version (V11 ... V15), you can buy an upgrade license only for same software. i.e. Upgrade license to upgrade Step 7 Basic V13 to Step 7 Basic V16 and so on. If you have old version and need the new version but not the same software, then you need Powerpack license. i.e. Powerpack license from Step 7 Basic V13 to Step7 Professional V16 The license purchased for V16 is also valid for all older TIA Portal versions. TIA Portal project versions V13 SP1 to V15.1 are upgraded with TIA Portal V16 to the project version V16. If you need to edit a TIA Portal project version V13 SP1 to V15.1, we recommend an additional installation of the corresponding software for TIA Portal V16. You can purchase an "update" or upgrade to take V16 Pro to V17 Pro Combo and use it for everything Siemens PLC wise (other than Logo!). SimmuleanLtd I guess it would be too much to hope that V16 Step7 Professional License would allow working on Simatic Manager Step7?
